Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Rosalin Gruss
Rosalin J. "Rose" Gruss, 90, of Coldwater, died Sunday morning, June 16, 2013, at Briarwood Village.
She was born Aug. 25, 1922, in Osgood, to Anthony and Margaret Liening Drees. On July 18, 1959, she married Victor Gruss, who died March 5, 1987.
She is survived by three sisters, Bernadine Wendel of New Weston, Dorothy Kanney of St. Henry and Regina Wendel of Fort Recovery; five in-laws, Sandy Drees of Fort Wayne, Ind., Rita Eyink of Coldwater, Irene and Jerry Timmerman of Fort Recovery, Mary Ann Gruss of Coldwater and Frances Gruss of Fort Wayne; and her good friend, Virginia Dugan of Coldwater.
She was preceded in death by her stepmother, Sophia (Hartings) Drees; brothers, Larry, Clem and Walt; a sister, Marietta (Henry) Mueller; and in-laws, Arthur Wendel, Robert Kanney, Ermin Wendel, Edgar Eyink, Vincent Gruss, Donald Gruss and Lavern (Ruth) Gruss.   
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Coldwater, St. Ann's Rosary Altar Sodality, St. Cecelia Knights of St. John, Coldwater VFW auxiliary, Fort Recovery American Legion auxiliary and Coldwater Eagles auxiliary. She volunteered for the American Red Cross blood drives and Coldwater hospital gift shop and was an election worker. She was an avid bowler, quilter, card player, golfer and Cincinnati Reds fan.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Trinity Church.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Memorials may be given to the Cancer Association of Mercer County or State of the Heart Hospice.
