At 1212 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near New Bremen, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Newport, Fryburg, Montra, Egypt, Uniopolis, New Bremen, Buckland, Botkins, New Knoxville, Fort Loramie, Kettlersville, Moulton, Jackson Center, St. Marys, Anna, Kossuth, Lakeview, Lake Loramie State Park, Waynesfield, and Wapakoneta.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 96 and 118.

Doug Byers
Douglas "Woody" Byers, 57, St. Marys, died July 7, 2013, at his residence.
He was born July 9, 1955, in Sidney, to Robert and Mary Ann Droesch Byers. His mother and stepfather, Robert Hoying of Fort Loramie, survive.
On Dec. 27, 2008, he married his longtime companion Lisa Dunlap, who survives.
Also surviving are a stepson, Jeremy (Christine) Dammeyer of St. Marys; a daughter, Brooke (Jason) Vondenhuevel of Clarksville, Tenn.; a grandson, Drew Dammeyer; three brothers, William Byers of Sidney, David (Monica) Byers of Minster and James (Cathy) Byers of Sidney; his mother-in-law, Carol Reis of New Knoxville; four stepbrothers, Don (Eilleen) Hoying of Greenville, Nick (Bonnie) Hoying of Fort Loramie, Mark (Sue) Hoying of Fort Loramie and Rob (Jeanne) Hoying of Fort Loramie; a stepsister, Carol (Bill) Buehler of McCartyville; three nieces, Stacey Beam of Nebraska and Halie and Presley Byers of Minster; and two nephews, Justin and Andy Byers of South Carolina.
He was a 1973 graduate of Minster High School. He retired from the Minster Machine Co. after 37 years, where he was a field service supervisor. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Minster. His favorite pastimes included hunting, boating and fishing.
Funeral rites are 7:30 p.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home West Chapel in St. Marys. Private family burial will take place at Miami Memorial Park Cemetery in Covington.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
