Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the Tri-State region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Clara Greiwe
Clara W. Greiwe, 94, New Bremen, died at 3:35 a.m. July 11, 2013, at Elmwood of New Bremen.
She was born Nov. 28, 1918, near Kettlersville, to Charles and Amanda May Westerbeck.
On April 17, 1948, she married Donald H. Greiwe, who died July 3, 2009.
Survivors include her children, John (Donna Sue) Greiwe of Sidney, James (Diane) Greiwe of Coldwater and Ann (Dennis) Nelson of New Bremen; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sisters Lavera Graef, Lucille Pleiman and Mildred Westerbeck, and her brothers, Wilson, Elmer and Carl Westerbeck.
She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in New Bremen, where she had sung in the choir. She was a very active member of the American Legion Post 241 Auxiliary in New Bremen. She was a 50-year member of the Hawthorne Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star in St. Marys. She was a graduate of New Knoxville High School, and enjoyed traveling throughout the states and to other countries. She was a homemaker and helped her husband on the family farm. She had also worked at the former Goodyear in St. Marys.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at Gilberg Hartwig Funeral Home in New Bremen, the Rev. Becky Erb Strang officiating. Burial will follow in the German Protestant Cemetery in New Bremen.
Calling is 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to the church memorial fund, Grand Lake Hospice or New Bremen American Legion Post 241 Auxiliary.
