Jill Kanney, 18, of Coldwater, will sing, "Don't You Know You're Beautiful" by Kellie Pickler in the talent portion of the pageant. Her platform is "Pay It Forward," noting a simple act of kindness can go a long way to brighten somebody's day.

  Kanney was the valedictorian of the 2013 class at Coldwater High School. She plans to attend The Ohio State University and major in biomedical engineering. She is the recipient of several academic awards and athletic awards in cross country and track.

  She is the daughter of Bill and Kathy Kanney, Coldwater, and is sponsored by Citizens National Bank.
