Sarah Marsee
Sarah M. Marsee, 84, St. Marys, died at 7:15 a.m. Aug. 10, 2013, at the Valley Nursing Home in St. Marys.
She was born May 28, 1929, in Chilton County, Ala., to G.E. and Susianna Feezel Bankston. She married Carlos Marsee on Feb. 29, 1964, and he preceded her in death.
Surviving are a son, Sam (Carolyn) Weilbacher of St. Marys; a step-daughter, Nancy Brock of Spencerville, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Holley (George) Wolfe of St. Marys, David Weilbacher of Cleveland, David (Tina) Brock of Spencerville, Tennessee and Genia (Mike) Stiles of Mississippi; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Deceased are her parents, her husband and her nine siblings.
She retired from the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in St. Marys. She was a member of Hillsdale Baptist Church in St. Marys. She enjoyed crocheting.
Funeral rites are 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Miller Funeral Home in St. Marys, the Rev. Garland Wilkinson officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial gifts may be given to Hillsdale Baptist Church.
