The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Malvary Cornett
Malvary Marie Cornett, 80, St. Marys, died at 8:26 a.m. Aug. 21, 2013, at the St. Marys Living Center.
She was born July 8, 1933, in Hazard, Ky., to Pete and Sara Johnson Ratliff. She married Kenneth L. Cornett on April 8, 1949, in Hazard, and he survives at the residence.
She is also survived by her three daughters, Deborah (Wesley) Grant of Martin, Tenn., Theresa (Darrell) Bayman of St. Marys and Tammy (Daniel) Stinebaugh of Wapakoneta; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Cornett; her siblings, Charles Ratliff, Herman Ratliff, James Ratliff, Donald Ratliff, Oma Mae Stanley and Mildred Begley.
She retired from Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys, where she had served as a nurse's aide for many years. She enjoyed collecting movies, reading, making crafts of all kinds and sewing.
Funeral rites are 11 a.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home, West Chapel, St. Marys, the Rev. Bill Maki officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorial gifts may be given to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
