Jonas Liening
Jonas Lester Liening, 38, Lexington, Ky., died suddenly at 3:21 p.m. Sept. 6, 2013, at Central Baptist Hospital, Lexington.
He was born Sept. 5, 1975, to Thomas J. and Marlene F. Oldiges Liening, who are deceased. He married Marlena Sue Schott on May 25, 2002, and she survives in Lexington.
Also surviving are his children, Jaxson Thomas Liening and Ava Sue Liening, both at home; in-laws, Sue Ellen Reese and stepdad, James Reese; and brothers and sisters, Gail (Craig) Burns, Mason, Steve (Mary) Liening, Minster, Sue (Luke) Albers, Minster, and Patrick Liening, Minster.
A celebration of Jonas' life is 4-8 p.m. Saturday at Four Seasons Park, Shelter House #2, Minster, with friends sharing stories.
Contributions may be made to the Ava and Jaxson Liening Scholarship Fund, c/o Minster Bank.
Arrangements are being handled by Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
