Temperatures will climb into the upper 80s to lower 90s today. This will combine with a humid airmass to produce heat indicies in the 95 to 100 degree range this afternoon. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening.

The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued an Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio, through midnight EDT tonight. Smoke from Canadian wildfires will adversely impact air quality. The Agency expects the Air Quality Index to be in the 'unhealthy for sensitive groups' range. Betty Johnson
Betty L. Johnson, 91, passed away at 4:12 p.m. Dec. 26, 2013, at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford, with the Rev. Mark Rutledge officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and Monday, one hour prior to the service.
Memorial donations made be directed to New Horizons Community Church, Rockford.
