* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, Kentucky, including the following counties, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.

Alice Howard
Alice E. Howard, 64, Fort Recovery, died Jan. 7, 2014, at her residence.
She was born July 1, 1949, in Celina, to Cletus B. Weitzel and Mary Ann Rammel Weitzel. Her mother survives in Coldwater. On April 30, 1983, she married Gary W. Howard, who died April 18, 2011.
Also surviving is a daughter, Kari Howard and her fiance, Steven Paige, Fort Recovery; a stepdaughter, Alicia Nichols, Arcanum; two brothers, Lavern (Jane) Weitzel, Fort Recovery, and Paul (Cindy) Weitzel, Portland, Ind.; three sisters, Lucy (Leonard) Bruns, Chickasaw; Ruth (Fred) Jutte, Fort Recovery; and Rita (Dave) Thobe, Fort Recovery; three grandchildren, Ethan, Jessamyn and Kyrese; three stepgrandchildren, Peyton, Kennedy and Trevion; mother-in-law, Hazel Howard, Somerset, Ky.; brother-in-law, Mark Howard, Somerset, Ky.; and a sister-in-law, Kathy Beasecker, Somerset, Ky.
Deceased are an infant daughter, Mary Howard; a brother, Charles "CW" Weitzel; father-in-law, Harvey Howard; and a brother-in-law, Mitchell Howard.
She worked at the former Jay Garment, Portland, Ind, and Marwil Products, Fort Loramie and retired from Honda, Anna. She also delivered newspapers for the Dayton Daily News for over 15 years. She was a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery. She enjoyed camping, following the Ohio State Buckeyes, crossword puzzles and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, the Rev. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial will be in St. Marys Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
