Ruth Kunk
Ruth M. Kunk, 85, Coldwater, died Jan. 14, 2014, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
She was born Sept. 18, 1928, in St. Henry, to Albert and Veronica Steinlage Muhlenkamp. She married Herman Kunk on Jan. 14, 1950, and he survives in Coldwater.
Also surviving are three daughters, Donna (Jerry) Campbell, New Bremen, Ann (Ken) Muhlenkamp, Celina, and Kathy (Carl) May, Coldwater; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Pauline Axe, St. Marys, and Joan Karron, Kettering; and in-laws, Imogene Kunk, Coldwater, and Alma Venys, Dayton.
Deceased are a son, Dan Kunk; a brother, Richard and Vera Muhlenkamp; a sister, Armella and Bob Waters, and in-laws, Frank Axe, Jack Karron, Alfred Kunk, Vince Venys, Sr. Mary Catherine Kunk, Donald Kunk and Edna and Urban Rutschilling.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, the St. Ann's Ladies Sodality, and the Coldwater Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. She was retired from the former Huffy Corp., Celina, and enjoyed traveling, fishing and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Calling is 3-7 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
