Workers with HA Dorsten, Minster, brave the cold as construction continues on the refurbishment and expansion of the landmark Boesel Opera House on West Monroe Street, New Bremen. The building owned by Crown Equipment Corp. will be utilized as additional office space and some retail space on the ground floor, according to Randy Niekamp, the company's vice president of human resources. Construction is expected to be completed by the end of November, but recent winter weather has slowed progress, Niekamp noted this morning. The 1895 brick building was nearly destroyed by fire on Feb. 25, 2012.
