During the predawn hours, winds will increase ahead of a low pressure system moving east through the lower Great Lakes. Gusts of 30 to 40 mph are expected through this afternoon, possibly gusting to 45 mph in a few spots. Wind is expected to decrease overnight but remain relatively strong at 20-25 mph this evening.
Please be aware of these strong winds especially if driving a higher profile vehicle. Secure loose outdoor objects and shore up seasonal decorations if possible.

Joseph Oswalt
Infant Joseph Oswalt, Springfield, passed away at 4:55 a.m. Feb. 22, 2014, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, Ariz. He is the son of Adam and Kimberly Hummel Oswalt, Springfield.
He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Jack and Janice Hummel, New Weston, paternal grandparents, Julia and Victor Kim, Greenville, and Paul and Melissa Oswalt, Union City; paternal great-grandmother, Louise Oswalt, Greenville; aunts and uncles, David and Shannon Condon, Greenville, Kevin and Kelly Winner, New Weston, and Jared and Christi Hummel, Rossburg; and numerous great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by a brother, Oliver Oswalt; paternal great-grandparents, Roger and Martha Powell and Harold Oswalt and maternal great-grandparents, Gregor and Monica Grevenkamp and Albert and Eva Hummel.
A memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, the Rev. Tony Miltenberger officiating. Burial will follow in Teegarden Cemetery, Ansonia.
Calling is 10-10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
