During the predawn hours, winds will increase ahead of a low pressure system moving east through the lower Great Lakes. Gusts of 30 to 40 mph are expected through this afternoon, possibly gusting to 45 mph in a few spots. Wind is expected to decrease overnight but remain relatively strong at 20-25 mph this evening.
Please be aware of these strong winds especially if driving a higher profile vehicle. Secure loose outdoor objects and shore up seasonal decorations if possible.

Pauline Richards, 86, formerly of St. Marys, died at 1 p.m. Feb. 27, 2014, at Hearthstone Health Center, Round Rock, Texas.
Funeral rites will be noon Saturday at Miller Funeral Home West Chapel, St. Marys, the Rev. Garland Wilkerson officiating. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
Calling is 10 a.m. until noon Saturday at the funeral home.
