Paul Henry
Paul Albert Henry, 88, Versailles, passed away at 3:23 p.m. March 15, 2014, at his residence.
He was born March 14, 1926, in Darke County, to Harry and Mary Didier Henry. On June 28, 1947, he married Irene Rinderle Henry, who preceded him in death.His second wife, Ethelyn Barnes Henry, also preceded him in death.
He is survived by his children, Donna (James) DeMange, Versailles, Jane (Donald) Evers, North Star, and Alan (Jeanie) Henry, Versailles; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; a sister, Bertha Bryan, Piqua; a brother, Alfred Henry, Versailles; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Connie Henry; a great-granddaughter, Rachel I. Henry; sisters, Josephine Saintignon, Magdeline Kley, Dorothy Zimmerman, Elizabeth Couchot and Florence Bashore; and brothers, Louis Henry, James Henry, John Henry and Joseph Henry.
He was a farmer and worked for 10 years at Monarch Machine in Sidney. He also was a state inspector and worked various other jobs. He was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church, Versailles.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Denis Catholic Church, the Rev. Jim Simons officiating. Burial will follow in St. Valbert Cemetery.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles.
