At 459 PM EDT, gusty showers were located along a line extending from near Ada to near Northridge, moving east at 25 mph. Some of these showers are capable of producing funnel clouds and isolated thunder.
HAZARD...Funnel clouds and wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include... Marysville, Bellefontaine, Urbana, Kenton, Ada, Plain City, Richwood, St. Paris, West Liberty, Mechanicsburg, North Lewisburg, Forest, Russells Point, De Graff, Lakeview, Dunkirk, Alger, Belle Center, West Mansfield, and Chippewa Park.
Conditions are favorable for the development of weak, brief funnel clouds. This type of funnel cloud is harmless, but on rare occasions they can briefly touch down, producing wind gusts over 50 mph. If a funnel cloud is spotted move indoors and report your sighting to the National Weather Service.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.

Martha Chapin
Martha "Marti" Chapin, 78, Celina, died at 7:35 p.m. April 7, 2014, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice.
She was born Feb. 27, 1936, in Neosho, Mo., to William S. and Etha Gladys Canada Brown. On Dec. 10, 1955, she married Don L. Baker, who died June 29, 1968. On Sept. 2, 1978, she married the Rev. Stanley Chapin, who died July 2, 1995.
Survivors include a son, Brent L. (Cynthia) Baker, New Port Richey, Fla.; two stepsons, Stan R. (Rhonda) Chapin II, Celina, and William D. (Heather) Chapin, Portland, Ore.; two stepdaughters, Deborah (David) Donnerberg, Troy, Mont., and Cynthia (Norman) Beach, Arlington; a brother, Samuel D. Brown, Van Wert; a sister, Margaret (James) Wiseman, Van Wert; 11 grandchildren, George (Brenda) Baker, Nicole Baker, Mark Ransdell, Alexandria Chapin, Jordan Chapin, Jacob (Amanda) Donnerberg, Hannah (Garrett) Detrich, Jacqueline Beach, Augustine Chapin, Erik Chapin (fiancee Jennifer) and Theodora Chapin; and seven great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Charles H. Brown.
She had worked at Ohio Power Co., Van Wert, and in the 1970s served as executive secretary of the Celina Area Chamber of Commerce. She was a 1954 graduate of Van Wert High School and member of First Presbyterian Church, Celina.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church, the Rev. Kae Merold officiating. Burial will be at St. Paul's United Church of Christ Cemetery.
Calling is noon-2 p.m. Saturday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Van Wert Inpatient Hospice or First Presbyterian Church.
Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, has charge of arrangements.
