Leona Pleiman
Leona Catherine Pleiman, 95, Fort Loramie, died at 2:35 p.m. April 16, 2014, at Heritage Manor Nursing Center Minster.
She was born March 21, 1919, in Cranberry Prairie, to Joseph A. and Philomena (Huwer) Quinter. She married Norbert Pleiman on April 30, 1940, in Fort Loramie, and he preceded her in death Oct. 31, 1994.
She is survived by children, Connie Kopp, Tipp City, Patricia Lallemand, Indianapolis, Ind., Linda (Roger) Siegel, Fort Loramie, Kenneth (Linda) Pleiman, Fort Loramie, Stanley (Nancy) Pleiman, Fort Loramie, Thomas (Jane) Pleiman, Fort Loramie; 25 grandchildren; 68 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; a brother, Maurice (Dorothy) Quinter, Fort Loramie; a sister, Pauline Koehler, Botkins; sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Quinter, Fort Loramie, and Lorena Pleiman, Dayton.
She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Dennis Lallemand; four great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Dorothy and Edwin Dresher, Henry and Florence Quinter, Rosella and Carl Ossege, Henrietta and Herbert Barlage, Adeline and Louis Huelsman, Rudolph and Agnes Quinter, Loretta and Cletus Huelsman, Albert and Dorothy Quinter, Stella and Donald Klikovits, Anthony Quinter, Edna and Thomas Lampert and Robert Quinter; brothers-in-law, Leon Koehler, Roy Pleiman and Ray and Luetta Pleiman and sisters-in-law, Hilda and Joseph Steinlage, Loretta and Louis Eilerman and Victoria and Ben Schultz.
She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and St. Ann's Rosary Altar Sodality.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Michael Catholic Church, Fort Loramie, the Rev. Steven Shoup celebrant. Burial will take place in St. Michael Cemetery.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Monday and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
