Lawrence Ungruhn
Lawrence F. Ungruhn, 83, St. Rose, died April 21, 2014, at his home.
He was born Sept. 7, 1930, in St. Rose, to Anthony and Clara Tuente Ungruhn. On May 30, 1959, he married Armella Overman in St. Louis Church, North Star, and she survives in St. Rose.
Also surviving are six children, Anthony (Diane) Ungruhn and Eileen (Ed) Marchal, all of North Star, and Frank (Jennifer) Ungruhn, St. Henry, Roger (Lynn) Ungruhn, James (Rebecca) Ungruhn and Mark (Lisa) Ungruhn, all of Maria Stein; 17 grandchildren; and a sister, Hilda Homan, St. Henry.
Deceased are a daughter, Mary Ann Ungruhn; two grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, Cletus Homan.
He was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church and the men's society. He was a lifelong farmer.
A Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Rose Church. Burial will follow at St. Rose Cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry.
