Barbara A. Zumbroegel, 80, St. Marys, died at 6:30 p.m. May 3, 2014, at her residence.

She was born Feb. 5, 1934, in Logan County, to Paul and Mary LaValley Patrick. On Nov. 27, 1965, she married Donald Zumbroegel in Minster, and he died Feb. 20, 1997.

Surviving are two sons, Cletus (Victoria) Zumbroegel, St. Marys, and Mark Zumbroegel, Lima; a daughter, Sheila Zumbroegel, St. Marys; seven grandchildren, Crystal, Christopher, Dustin, Austin, Sondra, Brandon and Courtney Zumbroegel; two great-grandchildren, Quentin and Leah Zumbroegel; two brothers, David (Barbie) Patrick, Bradenton, Fla., and Max (Dee) Patrick, Tennessee; a sister-in-law, Barbara (David) Lutz, St. Marys; and two brothers-in-law, Tony Oldiges, Minster, and Leland Romine, Buckhannon, W.V.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Sondra Patrick.

She was a 1952 graduate of Belle Center High School and Frederick's Beauty Academy in Lima. She was a homemaker and had operated a beauty shop in Lima for a number of years. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her favorite pastime was reading.

Funeral rites will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home West Chapel, St. Marys. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.

Calling is 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
