Kids make connection

Teacher Beth Smalley shows students how to grind corn for corn meal - an ingredient used for making many foods in colonial days during a Kid Connections session Tuesday at the IC Parish Activity Center in Celina. The annual two-week summer program, which ends today, introduced Mercer County students to Colonial life and culture.
