Mary A. Post, 98, Fort Recovery, died July 2, 2014, at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.

She was born Feb. 16, 1916, in Chickasaw, to William and Antoinette Wellman Gross. On Oct. 28, 1933, in St. Peter, she married Anthony F. Post Sr., who died Dec. 24, 1990.

Surviving are three daughters, Clara Kramer, Anna, Donna (Tom) Hartke, Celina, and Jeanette (Rick) Bachelor, Celina; three sons, Bob (Joey) Post, Coldwater, Tom (Mary Jane) Post, St. Peter, and Tony (Elaine) Post, St. Peter; two sisters, Ruth Johnsman, Celina, and Beatrice (Louis) Borger, St. Marys; 23 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Mary Eileen Gross, Arizona.

Also deceased are a daughter, Irene Post; a son-in-law, Mark Kramer; four brothers, Fr. Raphael Gross, Richard Gross, Gregory Gross and William Gross; a sister, Sr. Victorine Gross; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters-in-law, Monica Gross and Thelma Gross Barber; and a brother-in-law, LeRoy Johnsman.

She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, St. Peter, and the Christian Mothers Sodality of the church. She was a devout Catholic who enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed embroidery, word search and other puzzles and playing rummy.

Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter Catholic Church, Fr. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

Calling is 1-6 p.m. Friday and 9-9:45 a.m. Saturday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
