Southerly winds have begun to increase in strength late this evening. Some gusts of 35-45 mph will be possible tonight through the early morning hours. Be cautious if driving, especially on east-to-west oriented roads.

Betty Artz
Betty Jane Artz, 87, Richmond, Ind., died June 30, 2014.
She was born in Green County, to Merl and Jennie Anderson Poorman. Her husband, Alvin Artz, is deceased.
Surviving are two sons, Richard (Alice) Artz of Guntersville, Ala., and Robert Artz of Palm Coast, Fla.; a daughter, Karen (Bud) Neff of Richmond; a sister, Mary Kleinhenz of Huston, Texas; 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, Richard Poorman, and a sister, Bernice Poorman.
Services are 11 a.m. Monday at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home, New Carlisle. Burial follows at New Carlisle Cemetery.
Calling is after 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Contributions may be made to a local hospice provider.
