Scattered snow showers will continue through mid morning. With temperatures well below freezing, light snow accumulations will combine with lingering black ice from overnight, to create some slick spots on area roadways. In addition, brisk westerly winds will gust in the 25 to 35 mph range this morning.
If traveling this morning, allow for some extra time to reach your destination. Be prepared for slick conditions, especially on bridges and overpasses as well as untreated surfaces.

Crews from Shinn Bros. on Tuesday afternoon continue work on the water line replacement project along Wayne Street in front of the high school. The new water line - considered critical for fire protection- will extend from Buckeye Street to Meadowview Drive when completed in October.
