* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, Kentucky, including the following counties, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...Through Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A lull in rainfall will continue for much of the day. However, additional storms will move into the area later this afternoon. The risk of heavy rainfall will be greatest tonight into early Friday morning. There is also the potential for storms to repeatedly move over the same locations, which increases flash flood risk.

Nancy Ball
Nancy Ball, 78, Portland, Ind., passed away Oct. 18, 2014, at Chalet Village, Berne, Ind.
She was born Feb. 9, 1936, in Bryant, Ind., to Mahlon and Eva Gibson Houser. Her mother survives in Berne. On April 16, 1967, she married Clifford Ball, who died April 3, 2012.
Also surviving are two stepsons, Clifford J. (Sharon) Ball, Celina, and David L. Ball, Dunedin, Fla.; two stepdaughters, Susan (Steven) Dietz, Logan, and Lee Ann (Alan) Sigler, Logan; seven stepgrandchildren; and six stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was a graduate of Bryant High School and Ball State University. She was a first-grade teacher and taught in Geneva, Ind., and St. Marys before retiring in 1988.
Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Baird-Freeman Funeral Home, Portland, Ind., Pastors Robert Abner and Mark Strietelmeier officiating. Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Bryant.
Calling is 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
