Eleanor Frysinger
Eleanor V. Frysinger, 88, Celina, passed away at 10:40 a.m. Dec. 8, 2014, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
She was born June 23, 1926, in Celina, to Arthur Atmur and Myrtle Fast Fishbaugh. She was raised by her stepmother, Joy Bryan Fishbaugh. On Sept. 25, 1954, she married Ralph Eugene Frysinger, who died April 7, 2000.
Surviving are two daughters, Tracy (Jeffery) Medford, Middle Point, and Carolyn (Leon) Pancake, Celina; six grandchildren, Ashley Medford, Sarah Medford, John Medford, Justin Pancake, Allison Pancake and James (Erin) Pancake; two great-grandchildren, Wyatt Pancake and Claire Pancake; and a sister-in-law, Alvera Fishbaugh, Celina.
Also deceased are a great-granddaughter, Natalie Pancake, and two brothers, Pearl (Betty) Fishbaugh and Arthur Atmur Jr. "Whitey" Fishbaugh.
She was a 1945 graduate of Celina High School. She was employed as a cafeteria cook at Celina City Schools and retired as the cafeteria manager in 1988.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Celina, and the church's United Methodist Women and helped with Election Day dinners. She also was a 50-year member of the Celina Order of Eastern Star 91 and a past matron, and was a member of the Alterian Club in Celina.
She enjoyed sewing and good country living.
Services are 10:30 a.m. on Friday at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Celina, the Rev. Matt Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Thursday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Friday at the church. Eastern Star services are 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to St. Paul's United Methodist Church.
