During the predawn hours, winds will increase ahead of a low pressure system moving east through the lower Great Lakes. Gusts of 30 to 40 mph are expected through this afternoon, possibly gusting to 45 mph in a few spots. Wind is expected to decrease overnight but remain relatively strong at 20-25 mph this evening.
Please be aware of these strong winds especially if driving a higher profile vehicle. Secure loose outdoor objects and shore up seasonal decorations if possible.

Bernadette Adams
Bernadette M. Adams, 80, Celina, passed away at 9:39 p.m. Dec. 29, 2014, at Lima Memorial Hospital.
She was born March 16, 1934, in Hoagland, Ind., to Alphonse and Virginia Minnich Sorg. On May 30, 1959, she married Edward Adams, who survives in Celina.
Also surviving are nine children, Cheryl (Jeff) Shreves, Galena, Julianne (Gary) Clark, Colorado Springs, Colo., Duane (Angie) Adams, Spencerville, Kevin (Kathy) Adams, Celina, Lyn (Bill) Basey, Celina, Pat (Zenia) Adams, Celina, Angela (Greg) Gomez, Antioch, Ill., Karen (Di) Do, Clarksville, Tenn., and Cassandra (Ben) Carr, Dundalk, Md.; 26 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ronald (Carol) Sorg, Hoagland, Ind., and Russell "Butch" (Sharon) Sorg, Yoder, Ind.; and five sisters, Irene Shelburn, Hoagland, Ind., Marjorie Meyers, Fort Wayne, Ind., Jeanette Klingenberger, Fort Wayne, Vickie Vachon, Fort Wayne, and Helene Spieth, Monroeville, Ind.
Deceased are a daughter, Rosetta Adams; a grandson; and five brothers-in-law, Bob Meyers, Leon Shelburn, Dale Klingenberger, Dick Vachon and Jim Spieth.
She was a 1952 graduate of Hoagland High School. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina, its Altar Rosary Society and a CCD aide at the church. She also was a member of the Mom & Pop's Bowling League.
She loved her family, spending time with her grandchildren and watching the Cincinnati Reds and the Indianapolis Colts.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina, the Rev. Kenneth Schnipke, C.PP.S., officiating. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina.
Memorials may be given to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
