During the predawn hours, winds will increase ahead of a low pressure system moving east through the lower Great Lakes. Gusts of 30 to 40 mph are expected through this afternoon, possibly gusting to 45 mph in a few spots. Wind is expected to decrease overnight but remain relatively strong at 20-25 mph this evening.
Please be aware of these strong winds especially if driving a higher profile vehicle. Secure loose outdoor objects and shore up seasonal decorations if possible.

Snow shoveling duty

Collin Williams, 10, and his brother, Marshall, 8, shovel a sidewalk on North Sugar Street in Celina this morning after about 3 inches of snow fell in the area overnight. The temperature tonight will drop to a frigid 2 degrees with flurries and a high of 12 forecast for Wednesday.
