Edward Poor
Edward N. Poor, 45, Monroeville, Ind., died at 6:45 p.m. Feb. 27, 2015, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Ind., following a chronic illness.
He was born Oct. 23, 1969, to Russell Poor and Marjorie (Ellis) Poor, who survive in Hoag-land, Ind. He was united in marriage to Linda (Lehman) Poor on Oct. 3, 2009, and she survives in Monroeville.
Also surviving is a brother, Brian (Gail) Poor, Fort Wayne.
He was a member of the Indiana Volunteer Firefighters Association, Sons of the American Legion and the Tennessee Squires.
He was employed as a mechanical service engineer at Navistar, Fort Wayne. Ed was a volunteer firefighter for over 22 years at the Poe and Monroeville volunteer fire departments. Ed also was employed with the Allen County Sheriff's Department in the corrections division.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville, the Rev. Todd Buckmaster officiating. Burial will follow at Monroeville Memorial.
Visitation is 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
