Carl Wilder, 81, died at 10:26 a.m. March 4, 2015, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice.

He was born March 21, 1933, in Paulding, the son of Frank and Lucille (Copsey) Wilder, who are deceased. He first married the late Valerie (Boxell) Wilder (Laug), and then on May 1, 1982, in California, he married Lee Bruyere, who also is deceased.

Surviving are his children, Cathy (Russ) Krick, Convoy, Shari Brooks, New Haven, Ind., Denny (Jane) Wilder, Celina, and Dean Wilder, Baltimore, Md.; stepsons, Terry and Dale Buyere, both of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a brother, George Wilder of Guatemala; grandchildren, Sean (Jemae) Wilder of Wapakoneta, Jennifer (Matt) Shindeldecker, Celina, Chad (Katie) Wilder, Richmond, Va., Alicia (Andy) Perrott, Convoy, Jamie (Mark) Mendell, Stanton, Calif., Nathan Brooks, Fort Wayne, Ind., Abby (Justin) Rhodes, Celina, and Casie (James) Allen, Celina; 15 great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.

Also deceased are a daughter, Renee Lehman; his sister, Maxine King; a brother, Richard W. Wilder; and a granddaughter, Kelli McGinnis.

He had been employed at New Idea, Coldwater, for 12 years.

Private funeral and burial services will be held.

No calling hours are scheduled.
