Scattered snow showers will continue through mid morning. With temperatures well below freezing, light snow accumulations will combine with lingering black ice from overnight, to create some slick spots on area roadways. In addition, brisk westerly winds will gust in the 25 to 35 mph range this morning.
If traveling this morning, allow for some extra time to reach your destination. Be prepared for slick conditions, especially on bridges and overpasses as well as untreated surfaces.

Emma Bambauer acts like a cat as she re-enacts scenes while Lauren Paul reads aloud the book "Bad Kitty" by Nick Bruel during the Readers Theater program at the New Bremen Public Library. Students wrote scripts to books and then acted scenes out during the group time Thursday in the community room.
