At 459 PM EDT, gusty showers were located along a line extending from near Ada to near Northridge, moving east at 25 mph. Some of these showers are capable of producing funnel clouds and isolated thunder.
HAZARD...Funnel clouds and wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include... Marysville, Bellefontaine, Urbana, Kenton, Ada, Plain City, Richwood, St. Paris, West Liberty, Mechanicsburg, North Lewisburg, Forest, Russells Point, De Graff, Lakeview, Dunkirk, Alger, Belle Center, West Mansfield, and Chippewa Park.
Conditions are favorable for the development of weak, brief funnel clouds. This type of funnel cloud is harmless, but on rare occasions they can briefly touch down, producing wind gusts over 50 mph. If a funnel cloud is spotted move indoors and report your sighting to the National Weather Service.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.

Scott McEldowney
Scott A. McEldowney, 47, of 411 Hoopengarner Street, Wapakoneta, died 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at his residence, following an extended illness.
He was born August 30, 1967, in Saint Marys, the son of Jerome and Barbara (Cotterman) McEldowney. He married Dana Carroll on September 12, 1997, in Carrollton, Kentucky, and she survives at the residence.
He is also survived by his father, Jerome McEldowney of Saint Marys; by his four children: Michael McEldowney of Saint Marys; Crystal McEldowney of Wapakoneta; Brian McEldowney of Saint Marys; Kaitlyn McEldowney of Wapakoneta. He is survived by a step-son, James Carroll of Muncie, Indiana; by three grandchildren: Brooklyn, Jordan and Cambri; by three step-grandchildren: Caitlynn, Carlee and Keigan; by his siblings: Jerry (Peg) McEldowney of Wapakoneta; Teena (Charles) Ward of Saint Marys; Bev (Mike) Whitaker of Saint Marys; Craig McEldowney of Saint Marys; Teresa (Don) Henning of Celina; Dale (Donna) McEldowney of Saint Marys.
He was preceded in death by his mother and by two sisters, Tammy and Kim McEldowney.
Scott was employed at Frost Roofing Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and working. He adored his grandchildren.
He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Saint Marys.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 21, 2015, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Saint Marys, Fr. Barry Stechschulte, celebrant. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, Saint Marys.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Friday at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys. A prayer service will be conducted at 7:30 P.M. Friday, led by the pastor at Only Believe Ministries.
