* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...The following county, in west central Ohio, Mercer.
* WHEN...Until 500 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1240 AM EDT, radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, Coldwater, Wabash, Mendon, Montezuma, Tama and Neptune.

Gene Goettemoeller

Gene C. Goettemoeller, age 37, of Coldwater Ohio, passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday, April 13, 2015.

He was born March 26, 1978 in Coldwater Ohio to Charles & Doris (Johnsman) Goettemoeller, his father survives in Coldwater, his mother died in 2012. He was married to Claudia Goettemoeller on February 14, 2005 and she survives.

He is also survived by three sisters, Megan & J.V. Fritz, Lynn & Nathan Burtch and Amy & Brent Roth all of Coldwater, Ohio, two nieces & two nephews Wyatt & Samantha Fritz and Aiden & Kirra Burtch.

Gene was employed at Schwieterman's Custom Body Shop in Coldwater. Gene's biggest passion was working on cars. He loved to participate and watch sports, including golf, Friday night softball, racing and was an avid fan of the Cubs and Broncos.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Friday, April 17, 2015 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, with Fr. Tim Ralston, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 PM on Thursday and from 9 to 10 AM on Friday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.

Memorials may be directed to State of the Heart Hospice 230 W. Main St, Coldwater, OH 45828.

The family would sincerely like to thank everyone for the love, care, support, and generosity during Gene's illness.
