Mary Little
Mary H. Little, age 97, of Celina, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Miller Place in Celina, where she had resided the past few years.
Born Feb. 19, 1918 in Spencerville, Allen County, Ohio, Mary was a daughter of Fred J. & Ada Alice (Kies) Hindenlang. Her first Husband, Elmer Buxton, preceded her in death on Oct. 19, 1956, and her second husband, David M. Logan, passed away Dec. 8, 1974. She then married Dwight B. Little on Dec. 17, 1977, and he died May 13, 2001.
Mary is survived by a Sister, Martha "Marty" Moore of Wapakoneta, a Step Daughter-in-law, Ginny Brown of Florida, several Nieces & Nephews, and her Special Friends: Gloria & Bob Miller of Coldwater and Joella & Larry Stephenson of Rockford.
Preceding her in death were 6 Brothers & Sisters: Lewis, Leroy, William & Robert Hindenlang, Mabel Stant and Mildred Ackerman.
Mary had retired from the Reynolds + Reynolds Co. in Celina, after 30 years of service. A member of Celina First Church of God, she had also formerly belonged to the Celina Eagles, Moose and American Legion.
A passionate doll collector, Mary's extensive collection included many antique French and German dolls, which she treasured. She also collected doll carriages. In her younger years, Mary was an avid gardener, and loved to dance.
Funeral Services will be held at 12 Noon, Thursday, May 7, at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Richard Van Horn officiating. Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
Calling Hours are from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at Noon on Thursday, at the Funeral Home.
