Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Celina accident

Damage is visible to a car involved in a two-vehicle crash that temporarily slowed traffic on Market Street in Celina at about 9:30 a.m. today. According to Celina Police, Doris J. Marbaugh, 79, of Celina, was driving west on Market Street and attempting to turn south onto Lake Shore Drive when her vehicle struck a Ford Fusion driven by Dorothy M. Engle, age unknown, of Coldwater, which was stopped northbound. Engle reportedly suffered minor injuries and was taken to Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater. Marbaugh, who did not claim injury, was cited for driving left of center, the police report said. Both vehicles sustained heavy front-end damage.
