Kenneth Post
Kenneth W. Post, 58, Saint Marys, Ohio, died suddenly in the emergency department of Joint Township District Memorial Hospital on Saturday, May 30, 2015.
He was born March 31, 1957, in Lima, Ohio, the son of Bill and Rita (Heitkamp) Post. He married Connie Nutt on June 4, 1997, and she survives at the residence
He is also survived by two step-children: Shawn (Libby) Nutt of Elida; Ian Geesaman of Lima; by four step-grandchildren: Alli Diller; Zaylin Nutt; Casey Nutt; Sophia Nutt. He is survived by three brothers: Dan Post of Spencerville; Robert Post of Saint Marys and Allen Post of Saint Marys, and by his mother-in-law, Virginia Johnson of Lima.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by one sister, Phyllis Warnecke.
Ken was a 1975 graduate of Saint Marys Memorial High School. He was employed at Post Agri-Service. He was a lifelong member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Saint Marys, and also attended Allentown United Methodist Church. He enjoyed watching sports and spending time with his beloved dog, Zach.
Funeral rites will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 5, 2015, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, the Reverend Barry Stechschulte and Pastor Neal Whitney, officiants.
Friends may call from 9:00-11:00 A.M. on Friday at the funeral home, where memorial gifts may be given to Saint Rita's Medical Center Cardiac Care Unit. Condolences may be sent to Ken's family via Millerfuneralhomes.net.
