Jack L. Jones age 73, of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 8:12 P.M. on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at Oakley Place in Greenville. Jack was born February 4, 1942 in Celina, Ohio to the late Donald & Frances L. (Pearson) Jones.

Jack is survived by a daughter & son-in-law, Kimberly & Dwight Leeper of Rossburg; son & daughter-in-law, David & Laura Jones of Peebles; grandchildren, Candice Jones, Brigitte Jones, Elizabeth Jones, Tiffany Jones, Jessica Jones, Alyssa Jones, Brittany & Korey Harrod, Ashley & Mitch Winner and Katie Leeper; and numerous great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Jack was also preceded in death by his wife, Nancy A. (Whittaker) Jones on October 8, 2013 whom he married February 7, 1963; son, Gary Whittaker; and brother, Scott Jones.

Jack served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. Jack retired from Huffy in Celina. Jack was a member of the Greenville V.F.W.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 8, 2015 from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Military Honors conducted by the Greenville Veteran's Honor Guard at 6:00 P.M. Memorial contributions may be made to the Resident Activities Fund at the Oakley Place.
