Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Elliot Wehrkamp
Elliot Donald Wehrkamp, Fort Recovery, Ohio, received his angel wings on August 4th, 2015. He passed away two and a half hours after birth due to Anencephaly, a rare neural tube defect.
He was born at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio to Nick & Kristy (Delzeith) Wehrkamp, who survive in Fort Recovery.
Also surviving are two sisters, Makayla & Kendall Wehrkamp both at home; grandparents, Don & Beck Wehrkamp of Fort Recovery and Chris & Sandy Delzeith of St. Henry; and great grandparent, Eileen Welsch of St. Anthony.
Elliot's journey has touched many lives and that will live on forever, as some of his organs were donated to research to help find cures for pediatric disorders.
A Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 am Monday, August 10th, 2015 at Mary Help of Christians Church, Fort Recovery, with Fr. Ned Brown officiating. Burial will follow at St. Marys Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
Calling for family and friends is 9:00 am – 10:00 am Monday at Brockman – Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
In lieu of flowers, Elliot's family would be honored for contributions to be made to the family, who will make a donation in Elliot's name to support Sufficient Grace Ministries in Dayton and their volunteers. This outstanding organization supported the family throughout Elliot's entire journey.
