At 1212 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near New Bremen, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Newport, Fryburg, Montra, Egypt, Uniopolis, New Bremen, Buckland, Botkins, New Knoxville, Fort Loramie, Kettlersville, Moulton, Jackson Center, St. Marys, Anna, Kossuth, Lakeview, Lake Loramie State Park, Waynesfield, and Wapakoneta.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 96 and 118.

Area teams compete at Fox's Den

Van Buren wins title; St. Henry takes seventh place

The Fox's Den hosted a number of area girls golf teams for the Celina Invitational on Friday.
Van Buren captured the team title, edging Findlay 368-369 for first place. Versailles finished third in the field with a 380.
St. Henry finished its day with a 404 for seventh place. Minster was eighth with 422, Fort Recovery ninth with 442, Marion Local 11th with 456, Parkway 13th with 498, New Bremen 16th with 521 and Coldwater 17th with 529. The host Bulldogs did not field a full team.
In the individual medalist competition, Fort Loramie's Emily Knouff distanced the field, shooting a 3-under 69 to claim the title. Zoie Nieto of Van Buren was second with an 82, Versailles' Maddie Covault was third with an 83, Findlay's Jordan Whitman was fourth with an 84 and Celina's Kelly Stahl was fifth with an 87.
Stahl's teammate Haley McGillvary carded an 92. St. Henry was led by Haleigh Staugler's 94 and Carina Clune's 99. Minster picked up a 94 from Alli Fischer. Marion Local was led by Molly Kindle's 103. Taylor Hesse led Parkway with a 113. New Bremen received a 111 from Amy Schmitmeyer and Amanda Schmitmeyer led Coldwater with a 118.
BOYS GOLF
St. Henry 172, Delphos St. John's 184
The Redskins opened their season with a MAC dual match win over the Blue Jays at the Elks.
Ryan Grieshop led St. Henry with a medalist round of 39. Kyle Naumann shot a 41, Jack Romer a 45 and Clayton Heitkamp and Seth King each shot a 47.
Derek Klausing led the Blue Jays with a 41.
St. John's won the JV match 214-222. St. Henry's Lucas Grieshop and St. John's Ryan Dickman shared low-game honors with matching 48s.
Fort Recovery 184, Houston 210
The Indians opened their season with a win over the Wildcats at the Elks.
Chase Bruns and Nick Litmer shared medalist honors for Fort Recovery with matching rounds of 45. Jackson Hobbs and Colt Grieshop each shot a 47, Calvin Rammel shot a 49 and Austin Faller finished with a 50.
Zach McKee led Houston with a 49.
