* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...Portions of east central Indiana, including the following counties, Fayette, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hardin, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Preble, Shelby and Union.
* WHEN...From 4 PM EDT this afternoon through Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A complex of storms will develop later this afternoon and continue overnight. Repeated rounds of storms, combined with the extremely wet soil conditions will increase the risk for flash flooding later this evening into the overnight hours.

Grand Lake Regatta weekend

Keith Fickert, left, of Waynesville, and Frank Deem of New Carlisle work on Deem's boat on the shore of Grand Lake on Friday evening. Fickert is racing both Deem's boat and his own during the Ohio Governor's Cup Regatta. "I'm very much looking forward to it," Fickert said. "This is like our home course." More than 20,000 spectators are expected to attend the event, which is held Saturday and Sunday starting at 10 a.m. Admission and parking are free.
