Special Weather Statement issued December 3 at 1:05PM EST by NWS Wilmington OH (details ...)
Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning. Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces. Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

CELINA - Local government funding - state dollars for municipalities and townships - continues to slowly increase after several big cuts in recent years.
Cross Country teams from Ohio and Indiana traveled to Wright State University-Lake Campus on Saturday for the annual Rotary Invitational hosted by Celina.
Celina scored three goals within a span of two minutes in the second half to make a close first-half lead expand as the Bulldogs won their first boys soccer match of the season with an 8-0 win over New Knoxville Saturday evening at the soccer stadium.
