State Rep. Jim Buchy, R-Greenville, announced Wednesday that he intends to retire from the Ohio House of Representatives effective January 2017 and end his career as a public servant, opting to spend more time with his family.
After finishing his current term in the House, Buchy will have put in 30 years of public service. [More]

Capsules, cash, drug paraphernalia seized
CELINA - A Heroin Interdiction Team surveillance operation on Wednesday led to the arrest of two Celina men and the seizure of 50 heroin capsules, drug paraphernalia and cash, according to Celina Police Chief Tom Wale.
Law enforcement officers continue to search for a man believed to have stolen items from a garage overnight Tuesday in the area of Townline-Kossuth Road near U.S. 33.
