At 459 PM EDT, gusty showers were located along a line extending from near Ada to near Northridge, moving east at 25 mph. Some of these showers are capable of producing funnel clouds and isolated thunder.
HAZARD...Funnel clouds and wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include... Marysville, Bellefontaine, Urbana, Kenton, Ada, Plain City, Richwood, St. Paris, West Liberty, Mechanicsburg, North Lewisburg, Forest, Russells Point, De Graff, Lakeview, Dunkirk, Alger, Belle Center, West Mansfield, and Chippewa Park.
Conditions are favorable for the development of weak, brief funnel clouds. This type of funnel cloud is harmless, but on rare occasions they can briefly touch down, producing wind gusts over 50 mph. If a funnel cloud is spotted move indoors and report your sighting to the National Weather Service.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.

Dennis Spitler
Dennis L. Spitler, age 66, of St. Marys, died Monday, September 28, 2015 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy.
He was born January 4, 1949 in Dayton to the late Jack H. & Mary A. (Schreck) Spitler. On August 30, 1969, he married Sharon (Williams) who survives in St. Marys.
Also surviving are two children, Jason Spitler & Melissa Hubbart of St. Marys and Jody & Chris Springer of Englewood, three grandchildren, Rebecca Spitler, April Spitler and Cody Springer, and a cousin Darlene & Frank McDaniels of West Carrollton.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Jack A. Spitler.
He was a member of South Shore Sportsmens Club, Ducks Unlimited and a social member of Coldwater American Legion. He was a retired Dayton firefighter, avid outdoorsman, who loved to fish and was a loving Husband, Father and Grandfather.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, October 2, 2015 at Royal Oak Cemetery Chapel, Brookville. Burial will follow in Royal Oak Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater on Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
