Dwight Goins
Dwight "Bud" Goins, 78, passed away at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys, on October 12, 2015 at 2:30 P.M.
He was born June 22, 1937 in Sherwood, OH, to Dolar and Blanche (Arnold) Goins; both preceded him in death. He married Sherry Grantham on April 4, 1958; and she preceded him in death on March 14, 2007.
Survivors include his daughter, Rebecca Fuson, Montezuma; two sons Alan (Ginny) Goins, Celina, and Christopher "Casey" (Joanna) Goins, Celina; three brothers, Ray Goins, Wapakoneta, Robert (Victoria) Goins, Henderson, NV, and Dale (Deb) Goins, Celina; two sisters, Mable Blosser, Celina, and Delores Miller, Van Wert; seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
He is also preceded in death by a son-in-law, John Fuson; two sisters, Betty Hirsh and Barb Tester; a brother-in-law, Lewis Blosser; a sister-in-law, Dolly Goins; and two brother-in-law's, Herb Hirsch and Ed Tester.
Bud served his country in the United States Army. He retired as a truck driver after 50 plus years of service, working for Huffy's, Schneider Trucking, and MLS Trucking.
He was a member of American Legion Celina Post 210, Celina Eagles Lodge 1291, and Celina Moose.
Visitation hours will be from 3-7 P.M., Friday, October 16, 2015 in Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.
Funeral services will begin at 10:30 AM on Saturday in the funeral home with Pastor Danny Daniels officiating; where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina; where Celina American Legion Post 210 and Celina VFW Post 5713 will provide military honors.
