Scattered snow showers will become more widespread through this afternoon and then likely linger into this evening before tapering off.
The snow showers will be capable of causing brief periods of reduced visibilities, especially this afternoon. In addition, brisk conditions will prevail with west winds gusting in the 30 to 40 mph range today.
Light snow accumulations will be possible, mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. While roads will remain mostly wet during the daytime hours, some slick spots may develop toward sunset as temperatures begin to drop below freezing.
Please be prepared for the changing weather conditions today and the potential for reduced visibilities when driving.

Patricia Short
Patricia E. Short, age 75, of Montezuma, died on Friday, October 16, 2015 at Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater.
She was born October 6, 1940 in Dayton to the late Carlton Jenkins and Virginia (Loeb) Scheer. She married Dallas C. Short, who died November 12, 2010.
She is survived by three children, Dean (Marika) Short of New Haven, IN, Mitch Short of Ft. Wayne, IN and Jennie (Jim) Rogers of Pensacola, FL, twelve grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
She is also preceded in death by a sister Elaine Wright.
She loved Grand Lake St. Marys, enjoyed fishing, Bingo, bowling and spending time with family and friends. Pat retired from Magnavox/Raytheon in Ft. Wayne, IN and worked at the Celina Wal-Mart.
Funeral Services will be held 12 Noon on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater. Burial will follow in Burdge Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home, from 10:30 until Services on Tuesday.
