Snow showers are expected to develop this morning. As snow showers move through the area, quick bursts of snow will reduce visibilities and result in light snow accumulations. With temperatures falling, and reduced visibilities in the snow, travel conditions may be impacted. If traveling, allow extra time, and prepare for changes in weather and road conditions.
The Mercer and Auglaize county sheriff's offices must hire more dispatchers to meet new state standards.
All 911 call centers including the sheriff's offices in Mercer and Auglaize counties have until Jan. 1, 2018, to comply with new state standards, which include having at least two dispatchers on duty at all times. [More]

MINSTER - The Minster Wildcat offense had a slow first series against the Parkway Panther defense during Senior Night at Memorial Stadium. However, their next five series resulted in touchdowns as Minster took a 35-0 halftime lead en route to a final winning score of 35-20.
