George Stevens
George E. Stevens Sr., 70, of Celina died at 7:49 p.m. Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
He was born Feb. 12, 1945, in Everest, KY to Amos Gordon & Audrey (Homan) Richards. His father preceded him in death and his mother survives. On September 23, 1966 he married Linda D. Stevens and she passed away on January 18, 2013.
Survivors also include a son George E. "Eddie" & Kelly Stevens Jr., of Detroit, MI, a daughter Jackie Stevens-Sholler of Celina and 6 grandchildren.
George worked a Huffy's in Celina for over 25 years. He enjoyed camping, traveling and especially going to the "Smokies."
Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday November 16, 2015 at Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina. Pastor Randy Christian will be officiating. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens.
Friends may call from 1-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Cancer Association of Mercer County.
