Joseph Forch
Joseph F. Forch, 96, Saint Marys, Ohio, and formerly of New Bremen, Ohio, died 8:10 P.M. Saturday, November 14, 2015, at Vancrest of Saint Marys.
He was born March 10, 1919, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of Joseph and Loretta (Ward) Forch.
He is survived by his close friends, Bart and Darlene Beck of Saint Marys.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and by one brother, Harold Forch.
Joe was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during WWII. He was a self-employed animal genetics specialist, who bred cattle.
He was a lifetime member of VFW Post 9289 and American Legion Post 323 in Saint Marys, and DAV #119. He enjoyed fishing, playing baseball, shooting pool and was a former auto racer.
Graveside burial rites will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, November 19, 2015, at Elm Grove Cemetery, Saint Marys, with Pastor Josh Andrews, officiant. Military graveside honors will be presented by VFW Post 9289 and American Legion Post 323.
Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
