Ruth Doseck
Ruth E. Doseck, 89, of Saint Marys, Ohio, died at 10:35 P.M. Thursday, November 19, 2015, at the Celina Manor Nursing Home.
She was born September 2, 1926, in Piqua, Ohio, the daughter of Joseph and Clara (Eichler) Hodapp.
She married Philip Doseck on September 25, 1948, in Saint Marys, and he survives at the residence.
She is also survived by her eight children: Elaine Oehrtman of Saint Marys; Dennis (Marilyn) Doseck of Saint Marys; Deb (Mike) Jutte of Saint Marys; Nancy (Chuck) Cron of Saint Marys; Mary (John) Cooper of Saint Marys; Peg (Holland) Slone, Jr. of Saint Marys; Dave Doseck of Saint Marys; Beth Schaffner of Celina. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Douglas Doseck; and two brothers, Arland Hodapp and Luther Hodapp.
Ruth graduated from Euclid High School. She retired from Huffy Manufacturing Company. She was a member of Walnut Grove United Methodist Church in Saint Marys, and she enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family.
Services are 10:30 A.M. Monday, November 23, 2015, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, Ohio, Pastor Bev Hurlburt, officiant. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-6 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home, where memorial gifts may be given to Walnut Grove Church.
