Rosella Broering
Rosella I. Broering, age 88, of Maria Stein, died on Monday, January 25, 2016 at her home.
She was born October 7, 1927 in St. Peter, to the late Lawrence & Theresa (Jacobs) Will. On October 11, 1950, she married Harold F. Broering, who survives in Maria Stein.
She is also survived by five children, Susan Wissman of New Bremen, Jack & Wilma Broering of Hamilton, Jeanne & John Weeman of Wooster, Larry Broering of Maria Stein and Tim & Pam Broering of New Paris, thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters, Sister Laura Will, C.PP.S of Dayton, Jane & Gene Ballweg of Chickasaw and Sister Pat Will, C.PP.S of Dayton and in-laws, Henrietta Will of Ft. Recovery, Millie Will of Ft. Recovery, Irene Broer-ing of Versailles and Millie Broering of Maria Stein.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, a son-in-law, Robert 'Bo' Wissman, brothers and sisters, Anna Marie & Zeno Diller, Dorothy & Ben Sliemers, Sr. Ruth Will, C.PP.S, Rita & Rich Boeckman, Viro Will and Luke Will and in-laws, Lawrence & Stella Broering, Richard & Eleanor Broering, Joe & Anna Rita Broering, Rev. Victor Broering, Rosemary & Norb Overman, Andy & Kate Broering, Clarence Broering, Roman & Erma Broering and Cy Broering.
She was a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Cassella, the Christian Mothers Sodality, was a 1945 graduate of Coldwater High School and was a full-time mother and housewife.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, January 29, 2016 at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Cassella. Burial will follow at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Friday from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.
