Snow showers will continue this afternoon into the evening hours. Slick spots may develop on roads tonight as temperatures drop and northwest winds gust from 20 to 30 mph. Coverage of snow showers is expected to decrease overnight before ending Monday morning. Most the area will see an accumulation of one-half inch to 2 inches. Visibility will be restricted at times in the heavier showers.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Wade Gelhaus and the 15th-ranked Saginaw Valley State Cardinals clinched the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference North Division championship on Saturday with an 80-72 victory over Michigan Tech.
Gelhaus, a Fort Recovery product, tallied seven points, six rebounds, one assist and a steal in the win. The Cardinals will look to do some more damage in the post season. They have also secured a home game in the GLIAC tournament. [More]

Large crowd turns out at Celina meeting

Renewable energy awards designed to help lower energy bills
Two ag-related businesses from Mercer County and one from Auglaize County have been awarded USDA renewable energy grants totaling $35,110 designed to help lower energy bills, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
