* Flash Flood Warning for... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* Until 700 AM EDT.
* At 309 AM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Directors asked to obtain salary info from similar counties
CELINA - The Mercer County Board of Elections directors and an office assistant will receive a 2 percent raise retroactive to Jan. 31.
Board of elections members Phil Long, Del Kramer and Craig Klopfleisch on Tuesday unanimously approved the raises. Board member Toni Slusser was absent.
